IBM Helps MSPs Tap Cloud Market

IBM (News 
- Alert) is helping its clients benefit from cloud opportunities through a new set of global initiatives. An expanded cloud ecosystem from IBM will enable organizations to develop solutions and services on IBM SmartCloud and PureSystems, built on open standards.
This effort is aimed at further expanding IBM's cloud ecosystem, enabling organizations to develop solutions and services on IBM SmartCloud and PureSystems, built on open standards.
The growth of cloud computing will increase the demand of local technology providers known as Managed Service Providers (MSP) as they help clients to develop cloud-based services in an economical manner. Thanks to MSPs, clients will benefit from cloud technologies without spending time on gaining relevant IT skills.
IBM is enabling MSPs to further build innovative solutions and services on IBM's advanced technologies including SmartCloud, PureSystems, and analytics. MSPs will also be able to access IBM experts with deep technical skills at four new global centers of excellence.
Additionally, IBM will support MSP marketing efforts and offer affordable financing options through IBM Global Financing to help MSPs acquire new technologies.

IBM was recently in news for releasing IBM Emptoris Strategic Supply Management solutions that enable companies to maximize financial performance and optimize commercial risk.
